It was recently announced that award nominated actress Lunden De’Leon (We’re the Millers, Sweet Home Carolina) has been added to the cast of the horror thriller “Payne” filming in Wilmington, North Carolina.
“Payne” centers around a serial killer terrorizing a small southern town. De’Leon portrays the role of detective Yvette Paige, a straight shooting detective connecting the dots to catch the killer.
Best known for her role as Joanne Mbutu on the television series “Vital Signs” and nominated “Best Leading Actress” for her role in the film “Pure Justice,” De’Leon has starred in over 50 movies and television shows including “The Ladies Room”, “Cryptz” and “Fury” to name a few.
No stranger to horror films, many fans recognize De’Leon for her role in the Fullmoon Entertainment urban classic “Cryptz”. A horror film about a strip club where the sexy dancers are actually vampires in disguise. In it, De’Leon plays the lead role of Stesha.
The model-turned-actress recently wrapped the suspense thriller “Angels Prayer” portraying the wife of a slain cop.
“Angels Prayer” and “Payne” are scheduled for release in 2020.
